Still in the region, you will find one of the most impressive scenarios of the Portuguese coast: the Cape Espichel, which marks the southwestern tip of the Iberian Peninsula and houses the Church of Our Lady of Cape Espichel. It is also the place to glimpse the best-preserved deposits of dinosaur footprints.
In turn, the Cape gives way to an extensive stretch of extremely beautiful beaches such as Meco, Bicas or Rio da Prata. Another excellent beach in the region is the Lagoa de Albufeira, which is located north of the coast of Sesimbra.
Among the countless beaches, Ribeira do Cavalo stands out as a heavenly place, reminiscent of Thai landscapes: surrounded by a dazzling natural vegetation and a shade of blue sea that will leave you surrendered, it is a quieter beach, because the access to this paradise is exclusively by made by sea or through a 20, 30-minute trail that only experts venture into. Por sua vez, o Cabo dá lugar a um extenso areal de praias de extrema beleza como o Meco, as Bicas ou o Rio da Prata. Outra das excelentes praias da região é a Lagoa de Albufeira, que se situa a norte da costa de Sesimbra.
